Lora Mays brings 30 years of uniquely diverse experience to FLI. She spent the first third of her career in private practice, the second third as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 international oil & gas company and the most recent third serving as in-house counsel for a fast paced, privately held, international oil & gas exploration company. After leaving private practice (litigation and commercial transactions), Lora joined Anadarko Petroleum Corporation’s in-house team as a Contract Attorney. She then accepted a position in Denver as Chief Administration Officer and General Counsel for Aspect Holdings LLC.

Ms. Mays is a small business owner, an investor and serves as a Director in two Boards.

Danil Olenev is an accomplished member of FLI’s Global Operations Team with extensive expertise in legal project management.

With a deep understanding of legal frameworks and operational efficiency, Danil has managed complex cross-border projects, at times spanning across 60-90 jurisdictions, that address the nuanced needs of multinational corporations. His role includes overseeing regulatory initiatives, designing and delivering compliance training to a worldwide audience, facilitating international market entry, and coordinating multi-jurisdictional legal teams to ensure seamless execution of client mandates.

In addition to his expertise in legal project management, Danil brings complementary experience in innovation, technology implementation, and product launch. This includes spearheading the adoption of advanced digital tools, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational strategies to support FLI’s global initiatives.

Danil holds an Executive Master’s in Digital Transformation and Innovation Leadership from IE Business School and a first-class degree in International Management from the University of Bath. Fluent in English, Spanish, Russian, and French, he is well-equipped to navigate the complexities of global markets and deliver results-driven solutions to FLI's international clients.

Christian sits on FLI’s ‘Global Projects Team’. He has a wealth of experience in dealing with and managing complex multi-jurisdictional cross-border matters and has led projects spanning over 60+ jurisdictions.

Most notably, Christian is known for his contributions in a variety of multi-jurisdictional regulatory and licensing projects involving novel technologies, cross-border M&A transactions, real-estate audits/acquisitions, large-scale complex EU-immigration support, cross-border debt-collections, FCPA compliance investigations, foreign litigation and hotels/hospitality tax optimization projects in Central and Latin America.

With both a science and legal background, Christian’s eye for detail and focus on quality enables him to provide Client’s with top-end support and service across the board.
