In a post-pandemic global environment, online training programs make it easier for internal teams to disseminate information quicker, more effectively, and usually at a much lower cost. First Law International’s fully digital training platform helps in-house counsels understand the risks facing their business and help avoid infringements of local legislation in jurisdictions across the globe. Available on iOS, Android and Desktop, the application allows for DRM-Enabled Content Distribution on all these platforms securely, online and offline.
The platform offers an eSignature feature to track employee progress and program completion, interactive elements for additional resource download and audio can be added for additional explanations where needed. More so, the platform allows for multiple languages, depending on the teams’ locations. For the organizations training their employee teams, the Instructor environment shows detailed analytics – individually and for the group, progress tracking and individual profiles.

Awards & Nominations Over the Years

Year after year, FLI continues to receive industry awards for its contributions to LegalTech and fundamental interest-alignment with corporate clients’ operational and legal objectives.

In 2019 and 2020, the organization was celebrated by the likes of LegalWeek as an industry disruptor and was commended for the launch of its ground-breaking ‘Assistant GC’ app, which grants in-house counsel with access to 17,000 attorneys in over 100 countries, 24/7. They praised both the app and FLI’s strategic partnership with multi-disciplinary groups, by stating that “securing legal support worldwide has never been so efficient or cost-effective.”

The Financial Times also recognized FLI as amongst its highest-ranking Law Firm Networks out of 750 submissions, comprised of 163 law firms and 47 in-house legal teams. They featured the company in their 2019 edition of Innovative Lawyers, celebrating the launch of the ‘Assistant GC’ app as “ahead of the game in terms of originality, leadership and impact”.

In 2020, after a year packed with change and adaptability, First Law International emerged victorious as The Lawyer’s Global Network of the Year, a prestigious award given to the most innovative Global Network by a panel of judges comprised of Global General Counsel.
